Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
-
Assisted in the development of
National Facility Security Recommendations and Modifications (FSRM).
Development took place in Washington, DC for the national security program.
National design standards were established for security hardware, card
access, CCTV, digital video storage, intercom and lighting. A prototypical
application of these systems was developed for an en-route air traffic
control center (ARTCC). The design standards and the prototypical
application were used to bid and award a national contract to design and
install security upgrades at FAA facilities.
-
Performed security site adapt
investigation and design for the Atlanta TRACON located in the Southern
Region of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Work included
familiarization with facility operational requirements such as visitor
parking, shift change, loading dock security, and establishing controlled
access zones. Security systems were designed to meet Department of Justice
(DOJ) recommended standards for a Level IV Federal Facility. Systems
included in the design were perimeter intrusion detection, card access, CCTV,
intercom, and lighting.
-
Performed vulnerabilities
assessment and security systems design for the San Juan, Puerto Rico;
Combined Center Approach Control Facility (CERAP) located in the Southern
Region of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Survey work included
familiarization with facility operational requirements such as setbacks,
visitor parking, shift change, loading dock security, and establishing
controlled access zones. Security systems were designed to meet Department
of Justice (DOJ) recommended standards for a Level IV Federal Facility.
Systems included in the design were perimeter intrusion detection, card
access, CCTV, digital video storage, intercom, and lighting. Hardware was
selected to control doors and gates in a secure manner while still meeting
the requirements of the Life Safety Code.
-
Performed vulnerabilities
assessment and security systems design for the Miami en-route air traffic
control center (ARTCC) located in the Southern Region of the Federal
Aviation Administration (FAA). Survey work included familiarization with
facility operational requirements such as an urban site, visitor parking;
shift change, loading dock security, and establishing controlled access
zones. Security systems were designed to meet Department of Justice (DOJ)
recommended standards for a Level IV Federal Facility. Systems included in
the design were perimeter intrusion detection, card access, CCTV, intercom,
and lighting. Hardware was selected to control doors and gates in a secure
manner while still meeting the requirements of the Life Safety Code.
-
Developed procedures manual for
security upgrades to the Miami en-route air traffic control center (ARTCC)
located in the Southern Region of the Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA). Manual development included implementation planning, guard response
instructions, software configuration, badging procedures, and system
documentation.
United States Postal Service (USPS).
-
Performed vulnerabilities
assessment, security systems design, and construction phase services for the
Atlanta Cluster Security Master Plan. Survey work took place at multiple
sites and included familiarization with facility operational requirements
such as urban sites, visitor parking, shift change, loading dock security,
and establishing controlled access zones. Security systems were designed to
meet USPS design guidelines. Systems included in the design were card
access, CCTV, intercom, and lighting. Hardware was selected to control
doors and gates in a secure manner while still meeting the requirements of
the Life Safety Code.
-
Performed vulnerabilities
assessment and security systems design for the Macon Post Office and
Distribution Center. Survey work included familiarization with facility
